Be There, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, May 4th!!!
May 4th, we are opening to the public as a Test & Tune Day. It's as much for you the racer as it is for us at the track. We're excited to play with our new timing equipment and to see the racers on the new starting line. A bonus this year to the tower staff is that they can finally see the whole way down to the shut down area and return road.
We ask that everyone understands that this little track went through some major, major changes since Nov. While we tried to complete everything before we opened, we decided that racers want to race and so please understand there are still on-going projects.
There will be plenty of parking this year at the track since several acres of trees have been cleared. Please note that we are trying to keep much of the parking area grass, but the grass might not have grown in yet, plan accordingly if this is a wet week.
Here she is, a beautiful picture of the new starting line, in the center the newly installed eye for the timing system and a clear view to the end of the track.Monday, March 24, 2008
New Starting Line poured and ready to go
The starting line is NOW all concrete and has been moved back 30 feet & widened to 50 feet to accommodate future plans. The pictures show the new starting line in progress. The bleach box is in progress too!!!We are moving the Opening Test & Tune Day to April 27th, due to the installation of the new computer timing system.

Moving Right Along.......
Quarter Aces Dragway is Continuing with the construction. The starting Line is ready for concrete at the end of the month. Return roads and staging lanes are being staked out. All of the old Macadam has been ground up to be used as base for the return roads.
Around the bottom end has been cleared of all stumps and has been leveled off for more parking.
As long as Mother Nature keeps being good to us we should be in pretty good shape for the Spring.
A Huge Thank you to all the Sponsors that are coming on board. Thank you also to all of the volunteers that have been coming out and lending us a hand.
